Boatmate trailer
Guys, I need some help with an issue with my trailer. My Boatmate trailer is locking up when in reverse even on flat land. It will only go in reverse on a downhill like a ramp. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks

5 pin or 7 pin connector to truck? Trailer will lock if a reverse signal is not received from truck.

Boatmate trailer
I assume that you know you are getting reverse signal from the tow vehicle? If so, Check the ground connector on your trailer. It should be on the inside of the frame towards the front of the trailer. Mine got loose and produced the same issue.

It's a 5 pin. I have tried the nickel trick that I read about and It worked. I will also check the above! Thanks
