larger Mojo plate on 2012 - 2014 hull

I noticed that the 2016 Mojo has a new 50% larger wake plate. Does anyone know if this plate would work with the 2012 - 2014 hull? It seems to me that the smaller wake plate on the Mojo is less effective than the same size plate on the LSV.
