So I'm getting the 1100's and the IBS for my boat and I guess I'm gonna have to step up to the plate and try this wake surfing thing, only driving the boat has gotten boring after one month. Can someone recommend a board for me, 6'3", 270 lbs?

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll be doing my locker upgrades this weekend, then the IBS next weekend so between now and then I want to get a board. I'll post back my success/failure videos sometime.

You can pic a lit of boards that should work for you, the Mojo throws a huge surf wave so it will compensate for smaller boards. Like mentioned above you have choices, I would be looking for a board at least 4.10 to 5ft in length, you will want a Foam core as these are lighter and faster in the water.
I personally would stay away from the Thinner plastic style boards such as the Liquid Force fish, CWB Ride. These two boards are great to learn on but they are very very heavy boards and not really that good for larger guys.

Hey Guys -
Having issues with people over 150 lbs. staying in the wave, the kids have no issues. I have a 2013 outback v with 750's in the rear, 400 in center and 500 sumo sac in the bow. Manual Flow on 3, and about 9.3-9.7 seems to be perfect. Any faster and the wave height is too low. The wave looks great, but doesn't seem to push the heavier people.
New to surfing this year so the only bigger board I have is the liquid force 2015 fish in the largest size. From reading the post above it sound like it is the heaviest board available, and it does seem to sink in the wave. So is the board the problem here? If so any suggestions for finding a used proper board cheap? I've exhausted the budget for the boat and toys this year. Thx!
2013 Moomba Outback V with Assault 330, Flow Surf, Oz tower, Gravity III (750 rears, 400 center, 500 front) w/ Wake Plate, RGB LED's, FAE... my favorite upgrade the swivel seat!

I have a Ronix Koal Longboard and love it. I am 6 foot @ 215lbs and it it a very fast board so I have no problem staying in the wake. It is a great board for smaller people as well. Everyone who rides the board loves it - gets used by everyone in the boat (large and small)
2015 Mondo - surf edition w/autoflow
Hey there. Not sure if this helps but... I have a 2014 Mondo with 650lbs in the rear lockers and a 750lb IBS and manual flow. This is our first year surfing and i have a 5'4" Ronix Cortez and pretty much anybody that has tried the board can surf without the rope after an hour of time behind the boat. I have been cranking turns and think the board surfs fine (no other experience so far). crazy loose with the center fin off. Ok that was background.....
Last weekend, a neighbor at the lake borrowed his brother-in-law's LF Fish 5'6". I found it REALLY slow. it seemed to want to fall back out of the pocked all of the time. I found it hard to drive and get speed. My neighbor commented that he also found the Cortez easier to stay in the pocket. Take from that what you will.
