yes, they will show up but no project like they do at night. I noticed funky colors on the kids suits when swimming behind the transom with the light reflecting off them.
Can you see them from another boat in the daytime traveling, probably not , but doubtful any of those lights will be noticeable.A Day at the Lake...Priceless
