fused power/ground distribution block
does anyone know of a fused power/ground distribution block where....
one 1/0 awg positive cable feeds it and it somehow splits off into two separate fuses
and
it also has an input for 1/0 gnd cable that feeds two amps?
I have a JL Marine amp and a Harpoon amp and they both require different fuse ratings
JL M400/4 = 40A
Harpoon = 250W

Exile does sell those types of blocks. I can't recall the brand. Millerda has a thread with pics of them.
Positive is a 4 out with desperate fuses.
Negative is a 4 out no fuses.
I have an older LED block with positive and negative but I don't think they make them any longerMalo <--- Means--Evil or Mean One. This explains a lot.

Thanks Mark. If I can't find what I'm looking for, I may go that route.
I'm really wanting a combined fused/gnd block - just for less clutter above the batteries and simplicity sake.

I think this is what you are looking for.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TSpec-V12DB1...ht_1925wt_1238
It has 1/0 power and ground coming in and 4 gauge power and ground going out.
Here is the link to the T-Spec catalog.

The Harpoon only has 80A combined internal fusing and would normally only consume about 50A with both chnls @ 2 ohm. Does the JL have its own internal fusing? If your calculations are done correctly, that secondary fusing is redundant and not always needed. But you absolutely need circuit protection on the main trunk line.
If you want to use the extra fusing = Metra T-Spec V12DB14PM

As Mike mentioned, Exile carries the Tspec stuff. Brian has some pretty nice kits that include Tspec wire, blocks and fuses... pretty good deal on great quality stuff.

Thanks for all the great replies.
All I'm looking for is a way to eliminate one main trunk line off the battery.
I now have one for the JL fuse and one for the Harpoon fuse.
Both positives and the ground go to the same distribution block.Last edited by slipperyrockTKE300; 08-07-2014 at 12:17 PM.
