MOTOR MOUNTS Please Read Last Post
I have a motor mount that is not looking too good.. its been getting progressively worse for about a year and I think its about time to fix it. has anybody done this? Can I just pull that bolt out and put it back in? do I need to replace that grommet? will I have to do an engine alignment after?
Any info would be much appreciated.

Motor Mounts
Skidm has the bushing needed. You can replace the bushing without removing the whole mount. Alignment will be required afterwards.

Is this the right part? of course it has to be the most expensive one on the site.. the PCM one is $3.

here is the write up with a video. your left one looks bad, yes you need to check and adjust the alignment. Be sure to inspect the the top of the mount for any casting defect as this is usually why they fail like the one on the left......there were some bad castings.....the top should be flat and a rounded internal edge otherwise the upward lip chews thru the rubber.....a file or small air grinder works well as the metal is not that hard to smooth09 21v LAUNCH

Guys , I am Stickying this as everyone should check their rubber bushings. The first pic in this thread is a relatively normal looking one , the second shows significant wear and needs to be replaced. You can also check the underside for settling as the washer and nut will be loose. It is an easy diy project and the bushings inexpensive.
