I went the other way. Just bought a 201 Rav4 Sport with a V6. Only rated for 3500. I pull my boat about 20 miles per year unless I need to bring it to the dealer. Then about another 60 miles.

The rest of the time I plan to use it in the winter for the AWD. Traded in my p.o.s. 2001 Durango V8. Really like it in snow. And way better mileage.

Nice, in your case you can do that lol. I tow 15-20 miles each way on the short trips. I think last summer, other then the trip to AZ which was just over 5K and prolly 3500 on the trailer we generally put 2-3K on the trailer.
