In case you get sick of losing corks a more permanent fix is to run the vent from the port bag to the fitting on the starboard side of the boat and vice-versa. That will solve the problem, but will also force you to get used to the bags venting on the opposite side of the boat.
The zip tie trick works on smaller bags, but we've found on the 1,100, unless there is a lot of freeboard in the boat, it's impossible to get the hose higher than the top of the bag.

Jasonwm - I have a similar issue but I don't have my bags vented, so it's just coming out the drain line as the boat lists. Would a possible fix be to route the drain lines to the opposite side. I'm guessing that if I did run vent lines to the opposite side, the water would still come out the main drain line?

Sorry, I should be more careful when I use the term vent, but what I described will apply to any connection to the bag. On the fill side of things it's not a problem because the sprinkler valves prevent the flow of water out of the bag, otherwise they would continually drain.
So yes, rerouting the drain hose to the other side will prevent the bags from draining through that connection. In most applications you can get the hose high enough in the boat (even if you have to run it under the gunnel in front of the bag a bit) to not need to go all the way over to the other side of the boat, but it just depends.

Yep, that's a good way to help limit draining, unless you're running a big bag like a 719, in which case the top of the bag will still be at the same level as the hose.

Thanks for the input Jason.......with the list on the boat and the top of the bag just under the hatch opposite side venting will also solve the problem....and then if I want i could also T in a line from the pump on that side and back fill the bag 2x as quick using the opposite side pump as well ... ......

Yeah, we've had a few customers that have linked their pumps together with valves so they can fill one bag at 2x the rate. Just ensure you have sufficient vent capacity to ensure you don't damage the bag or the boat.

I assume I will have the same issue of water loss out of the vent line in a 2010 with the jabsco pumps? I just received my 1100 from you (thanks Jason) but haven't swapped it out with the 750 yet. What's the easiest solution? Other than the cork, which I'm digging

Unfortunately yes, in fact because of the improvements to the factory system in the '09 and newer boats this may be even more of an issue. We can get you some factory matching hose to extend the vent connection if you want, and there are a couple of ways to route that.
