    You need to help us "authentic southern boys" out, like a picture and a description of what a "crib" is and its purpose, as it sounds very interesting.
    All I have to do is blow the Cypress trees leaves (needles, not sure what they are called buy they are not evergreens) off the dock a couple of times.

    A "Crib" is an interlace of logs or some kind of timber say 4ft x 4 ft then filled with stones and boulders. That is the simplest description.
