Winch Lock on 2007 Moomba trailer disengages

Pulled the boat tight and on the road the little winch lock pops out and allows the winch to unwind.

Maybe a weak spring.

Anyone know a solution or where to get new spring?

I’ve noticed the same thing happening on my 2007 lsv this season. I’m planning to just replace the winch with a new Fulton.

What new model matches ? Etrailer had a hard time coming up with a match for some reason. I ended up tie wrapping it in place.
