its the 2017 model, used it a few times last year, and its in great shape. I would say is a playful fun slasher. I am a bigger guy (230lbs) and had no problems at all. I have a few surf style boards and looking to get a hybrid or skim style so I need to thin the herd.

my wife 140 and both daughters under 110 ride this board with no issues. That said, all 3 love the Hyperlyte Shim which is by far their board of choice. IMO this is a board for active dudes
