    have 97 outback needs trans assy. looking for good used or place to purchace new trans.

    There were 2 motor brands that year, if it is a PCM motor w/PCM trans. call Vince @ Discount Inboard Marine(803)345-0996, they have new and rebuilds. If it is a Indmar with a Hurst trans. call Larry @ Indmar(901)353-3350, he can also assist you with new or rebuild, tell them I sent ya. Brian Raymond
