Default Boot version showing on display.

I have a 2014 moomba lsv and the boat display won't reach the home page, instead its showing boot version 2.6.10000.2 and config invalid: 2
I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to fix it or do I need to go to a dealer?

Have you tried to disconnect your batteries for a period of time (5-10 mins) and retry? Might be worth a try.

Otherwise, my guess it probably needs a software update from the dealer. Not sure if they can send a USB or they have to do it themselves.

Yeah, tried the battery and no change. Now it works about every 1 in 15 times and will come up with the standard screen. So the screen may just be going out and I dont think they make them anymore. I will have to buy a aftermarket perfect pass since that is how I could set the cruise control on the boat. It also is the screen that shows the boat hours. So not sure about that part.

Yea, I follow you if the screen is going in/out.

Might be a long-shot but see if you can check the connections in the back. Try the unplug/plug-back-in.

I'm not sure who made those screens, but you might want to drop an email or call to Skiers. They may know a company that might be able to test it or point you in a direction to find a replacement.

Since the screens change every X number of years, harder and harder to find replacements.

There are a few companies that sell the aftermarket cruise systems. My buddy installed one on his 2006 Supra and it worked well. Also said the customer service was good when he had an install question.

I’ve had something similar happen before, and I ended up needing a system reset. Try turning the boat off, disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, and then reconnecting it.
