Thanks guys for the info. I haven’t removed my side panels on my Max in quite a while but hopefully there is plenty of room to work.

Access for me in the mojo is pretty easy from the port ballast locker with panel removed. Just make sure you don’t drop your small screws that hold the cover on and an impeller puller is probably worth it.

You can bump the engine a few times during to help get it out.

I just used water and spit when I changed my last impeller. Started with spit, ran out and then used water. LOL! It worked.

Did mine yesterday. With the puller was a breeze.

I though the difference in the spline design was interesting (running two different ways on the stock impeller vs all the same way). Any thoughts on this or doesn't matter?

Or was it the same originally and got angled during the 70 hours of use?

Are you talking about how it looks smashed at the top of your pic?

Yes, that's the factory one. Bottom is before I put the new one in.

This is the impeller sitting inside the pump. Notice the clearance differences.

That looks normal. Pump housing isn't a perfect circle. And they do tend to stay bent from use. If you let it sit out in a warm place long enough it will probably straighten back out.

    Thanks folks!

Got the impeller changed, finished up with the vent lines for the new WM rear bags and moved the sensors up. Ready for a water test before the season officially starts.
