I did this last night. Me on boat, flow at 2 and a homemade gate as far back as it would go. 1100's in rear, full and about 80% on non surf side, front as full as it'll go with the surf edition sac. But always a slight turn to the right. (We are both goofy)

Is that where you normally surf your boat? I need to be about 2 feet away from the swim step?

I can be almost that far back, but I'm 6' 200 so it's tougher for me. She can ride 20 feet back and come back in.

I never deploy flow with my homemade suck gate. I usually fill my 1100s about 80/50 % heavier side being surf side and front sack and ibs full. My wave is amazing and can go straight or turn opposite if needed at end of lake and still have a good wave. I use flow for kids or good skim action.

Here's suck gate and then flow below with my son. When he rides I only put bags at about 70/40 and front 70%.
    Suck gate only 80/50/100

    Flow only 70/40/70

I like having both. The flow adds a little extra

    Hey Everyone,

Just wondering what angle you are running for your suck gate. Just bought an aluminum handle (plastic one fell off every time). Hoping this model will work better.
    I have a 07 LSV.

    Thanks
