We have plenty of extra water to give!! Please come get it!! Pretty soon these picnic tables will be another one of those vanished things swallowed by the rising lake! It is projected to land 10ft above summer pool. Campgrounds, picnic areas, even launch ramps are closed. We have had so much rain the flood gates on the dam can't keep up.

Allatoona is a large, yet relatively shallow lake and probably most impacted of all metro ATL lakes with no/extra rainfall.

Sunday was in the mid 80’s here so I took the boat out for the first time this year, which is pretty early for us. Took (7) 20-somethings from work and wakeboarded non-stop for about 5 hours (other than a quick break for lunch).

On a side note, my starting battery was DOA at the ramp so we ran both the stereo and the boat from the (2) stereo batteries all day with no issues. Just flipped my Blue Sea battery switch from “1” to “Combine” and we were off. Time for a new starting battery. I got 6 years out of the original so I guess it was time.

Here is a pic from that lunch break. It was the only pic I took all day.
