My wife gets it too. She put up with my car obsession years, joining the boys and i at the dragstrip. All my years of motorcycles, building and selling them. And of course my boat obsessions. After 34 years she still gets it and enjoys whatever we're doing. In fact I think she's just as obsessed with the boat as I am!
