LSV vs OBV
I'm taking a look at buying a 2005 or Higher and looking for some feedback.
The boat is going to be used in all categories. Skiing, Wake boarding, etc..
How is the LSV for slalom skiing?

Others will chime in about skiing with a current LSV, but remember that the 05 LSV is the same hull as the 06 to 08 OBV.

a 2005 lsv is the same hull as a 2006 to 2008 OBV, then the OBV changed to a deeper hull in 09 and 10. the lsv went deeper in 2006 and pretty much has stayed the same i believe to present.
the 05 lsv and 06 to 08 have flatter wakes than the lsv 06 and after. they also have a lower freeboard as well and weigh less..
hope i di not confuse the heck out of you.. you can see through the historical archives of waht i am talking about. i think one year they made an Outback LSV in 06 or 07 , but i think it was as OBV hull
ooh yea we slalom behing our OBV 07 and enjoy it well, no courses but i would love to try it one..A Day at the Lake...Priceless
A Day in Powder...Endless

I have an 07 LSV. For an all around (Wakeboard/Wakesurf/Ski) tow boat you can't beat it; however, if you do serious competition skiing, the wake on my boat will present a challange. Most of our skiing is recreational, and it is actual fun to get some air.
