No problem - always happy to help, and YES we have a very active forum on the Moomba side with a lot of great how-to information and lively discussion.
I went through a full blown ballast install myself last spring and used some of the tips from this thread as well as advice from many other members on here as well. The post of my how-to on that project as well as ballast upgrade projects done by others has mostly likely has landed in the archive by now.
You may try combing through there for some ideas if you aren't seeing anything in the active forum threads. So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

I've been around these forums to long to be scared off that easy.
I think I'm just going to added two more 800 attwoods to fill the rear 800's I just bought
And leave the other pump and sprinkler valve to fill the 1100.

Im not quite sure how the OP made the vented loop.. he said he used a check valve in the top, but I'm confused as to what the vented loop looks like or how he made it.

I gave up trying to figure out how to make one. They average about $45 ea for 1". However I lucked out on ebay and picked up 3 of them for $45 total. Keep looking - they're out there.
Something to consider - 3/4" is much smaller/easier to work with and cheaper to buy.So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?
