If I spend more than $25 that is an absolute guarantee that they will not last the week. I will lose them, sit on them or jump in the water with them on. I gave up and now look for the budget wraparounds.

I have the same issue and bought a pair of (supposedly) floating Peppers from REI. Best case maybe neutral floatation and now I have one less pair of glasses. One of these days I'll remember.
