red light on throttle?
When i start my boat the red light on the throttle comes on, why?

is it at the base of your throttle ? If so it should be for the transmission . It will come on under 1500 rpm's I think it is ? It should go out when under way, But if it still stays on check your tranny !

It's the low oil pressure warning for the v-drive and should turn off above 1200 rpm. If it stays on, check the oil level in the v-drive. You can download an owners manual under community/downloads if you don't have one.

no problems light went off as soon as i put it in gear!
