Default Wind and open rough water

Today the wind is 20-25mph and the lake is definately going to be rough, easily 1.5-2ft chop and I got cross 3 miles of it. Yesterday I was at the ramp testing the ballast system but didn't plan on going out but it was entertaining watching a few wakeboats go for it. Winds were a little stronger and I saw a Malibu Echelon make it about 200yds outside the protected marina and turn around (saw him take two big waves over the bow). Saw a direct drive Natique go out and turn around. Then saw an X2 go full throttle and went for it. You river guys have it good.

Good thing you have an XLV then! It'd be a bear with an LSV or worse yet with OutbackV or Outback like I have. I wouldn't even try it

Yes we are sitting at the pool in the backyard staring at the boat in the lift and the big ole white caps on the lake! Not many boats out today.
