Never having any symptoms does not mean you have never had the virus. Perhaps you have been an influenza virus super spreader.
You could try putting a fake lake over the intake, then using a sump pump in plumbing antifreeze suck some up into the bags, then empty
Omg........I hate to admit it but my plugs are The original.......I have new ones , for about 5 years now.....but , the engine starts right up and has never missed a beat in 11 years. I must say , I...
I have a spare plus 2 new ones. I was religious doing it every year on my DD. The V drive impeller change is a little more time consuming ( 8 minutes as I did a video last time I changed it) so after...
One turned into two, then three, four, etc. Since I watch the temp gauge like a hawk and perform engine active impeller performance tests, I saw no reason to change it until this last weekend. It...
Well after 9 years my impeller finally gave up a rib. While there were no cooling issues, on winterizing , I found a rib that was caught by my tranny cooler. I had to find when I shot my 8 minute...
I have been running plumbing antifreeze thru the pipes n pump on drain first then pull hose out of solution and run the pump on fill till the clear line is empty. Going on 11 years with same...
The pvc pipe hooks up to one of your vent hoses and blower to remove the explosive vapours pre engine start up
Just curious as to why you think both are leaking? There are a lot of reasons why you can get water in your bilge.
Re-tap the hole. I always remove the plugs then put them back in after drainage and poking the holes to release and accumulated rust deposits
Check the wires on the sender to make sure they are attached. Check your drive oil level regularly. I’m not sure if it’s a normal open or closed switch. If it’s open , you could jump the wires and...
Has this just started after winter lay up and summerization?
1 check all clamps and strainer gasket seal to ensure you are not sucking air.
2 check the tranny cooler
3 remove the thermostat and...
Over time the thermostat can accumulate oxidation build up and when open will no allow enough water to escape the engine. Check if your manifolds and exhaust rubber pipes are hot. How hot is your...
That’s why I use Visa rather than Paypal.....if you do not get it a few days after the ship date call visa and complain. At least you get your money back
check the thru hull exhaust fitting. The sealant can fail.
If I was the OP, I would be asking
Why did 2 exhaust manifolds crack?
Was the oil checked previous to this event to determine if there was water intrusion?
If there was water intrusion was the oil...
This^^^^^....when shut off water can flow thru exhaust valve into cylinder head. The water will then seep past the ring gaps into the crank case.
The question is where did the water in the bilge...
Whoa Lakeman, I thought how long have you had the boat and where exactly did the ballast hose come off were pretty simple questions. How long helps me as to your familiarization with the boat. Where...
He probably meant 2 exhaust manifolds, but whats the chance of both going......oh wait....back to how long have you had the boat?....then who winterized it and did they drain the exhaust manifolds?...
Great, you answered the last question how about the first 2 questions
Water can get in thru the dipstick tube block connection but I would think after 2 oil changes all water would be out. Was the oil water free earlier in the season?
Are you telling us the entire...
I assume you have a new impeller, and the stat is a 160 degree. When is it 190 and when is it 155, and how long does it take to get it to 155 and what if you neutral rev it at 190?
Be careful engaging your drive while out of water. The cutlass bearing is not lubricated and this can cause premature wear.
It should only drip no more than once every 3secs iirc. Do you have ballast tanks?
You will have oxygen sensors with wires on the exhaust manifold.
