Same, my wife was pretty sad about it. Someone on the FB group posted pics of an aftermarket mod for about the same price. I think the shop was in kentucky

Bags that don't cracks the subfloor on mojos.
Taller pro tower with dual rack option
Bimini that actually hangs over windshield
Transom remote without knob that gets easily broken

Yeah for real... but honestly I blame the whole service writer middle man bullshit you get at any automotive dealer shop. Things don't get communicated well, even when I write it down. Good news...
Had them demo it upon pickup, still didn't work [emoji38] they are fixing it now . I think the tech just skipped it.

Yeah, looked obvious to me. Bad one on right, good on left. But they don't take them apart, they just check function. I got my boat October 21, I think the update came in Feb or march

A little disappointed, took the boat in for 20hr service and told them about my actuator being bad, working sometimes. Sticking others....
Well they are blaming it on old software.... even...
just build in a "wake sub" like the $350k paragons have haha
im sure you did... im sure i did too hahaha, $4500 dealer charge seemed excessive.
yeah, i dealt a bit with MM act when i did car audio installs for 7 years. dealers always look for excuse not to cover it. I hate to pay for stuff im capable of doing, but i would also kick myself...
happened to me the other day... ended up being a stuck surf tab due to bad actuator
out transom remote was broken before we picked up the boat... with the knob, it would have made more sense to put it on the port side, that would have given a little more protection. I just make...
i second this... kicker is solid.
i would run the 4 main off an amp and just run the bow off the head unit if you are on a budget... or find a way to put 4 in the bow and run 8 off of a 4ch amp.
do all moomba dealers charge 650 for the "mandatory 20hr check" ? seems like a rebate scheme, where they count on people missing it or not wanting to pay as a means to get out of warranty coverage.
perfect, thanks for the info.
side note, i was looking at my build sheet and it lists (2) bags, 102x21.5x24" which would be the overall rear bag dims, so just measuring the long section, it...
WM should just save material and make a 360lb bag that connects to 2 of the vent holes on the factory bag

That seems reasonable and is what I would guess. I think maybe the WM bags are underrated. I know they fill higher, and based on my rough calc, there is approx 6 cubic feet of space on top of the...
I didn't see it, going off what someone said on my mojo ballast/lead post
Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
our old boat was around 40k and allstate was about 330/year, so seems reasonable. there is some flat cost tho, not 1:1 value correlation because now we are only 600/year for a 22 mojo
how do you know that?
the numbers for the mojo make no sense.... factory claims 4k ballast, which if the upgrade is 1460, and claim it is at least 600lb bigger, that puts the bow at atleast...
thats the makai, this thread is about mojo
which on the makai looks like there is a bit of room above the bag.
thanks for the info... im used to my old boat where i slammed the shit out of the rear to make a big wave. looks like there is room on top of the fuel tank, add any there? or did you just keep to...
wake life has a deal right now on 20 bags (1k LB) for almost 50/bag... best deal my dealer said was 65/bag (plus tax)
good to know, sound like 1k is the answer. i ran my triangle/box sumo bag (650lb) in the rear of boat where the slide seat is and it helped a ton... so im sure putting lead farther back will help...
65% of the time , 15 miles thru slow city traffic. 20% is about 40 miles, slight elevation, and then 1 or 2 trips a year up in the mountains a couple hours away

Current deal on either 500 or 1k.... I know I want at least 500, but I'm not sure if 1k will be worth doing as much with towing and packing.
