Replacement Drain Plugs
I am missing a drainplug off the block, that I am for certain the tech at the place I got my boat winterized either lost, or stole . Anyway, I need to replace it. Can I get the same size bolt from a hardware store, or do I need to order a special plug from a moomba dealer?
Thanks,
Tyson

Don't take this wrong, but have you approached the manager/owner of the facility that did the work? I don't think these guys really want to alienate their customers this year.

Yes, I did and they said it was "missing when it came in" which I know for a fact is false. It was my first time there, and will not be returning. They did a very poor job. I will just replace it myself instead of playing "he said, she said" with them.

Tyson, im not sure but i dont think its a regular bolt, but you should be able to get the plug at any marina or marine online supply store. The engine is after all just a marinized chevy 350

You should be able to get a brass plug just like the one that is missing at any auto parts store. Just take in the one you have left from the other side and match it up.

Most auto parts stores carry plugs and plugs that have valves (so that you don't have to remove them to get the water out of the block).
