I bet that will work better than you expect.
My only issue doing the trans cover is if the adhesive does not hold well from moisture and/or heat and falls off. It basically lands on the prop shaft coupler of the V-drive and shreds apart or wraps around the shaft and causes damage. I know the dynamat type stuff is bonded and not coming off.
Good point, but if this is typical closed or open cell foam, I don’t see it taking out a prop shaft, but it could make a shredded mess.Quote:

Let us all know what you find out. The dynamat material did help with vibration created noises and removed some of the higher pitch whine. I would be willing to throw $50 at something that will take it down another notch.Quote:
