Winterizing 2016 Mojo
Tools needed: 11/16" and 1 1/16" socket, ½ and ⅜ drive ratchet, ⅝ spark socket, ⅜ drive extension, Impeller puller, short flathead, needle nose, crescent, power drill w/ phillips, oil filter wrench
- 8 qts Motorcraft 5W-30 synthetic blend (872004), 2 qts tranny 872006 or 872020, 1qt v drive 872009 or 872022, oil filter Motorcraft FL-820S (872025), impeller 685007, fuel filter (556003)
- 8 Gal Antifreeze, fogging oil, RV tank cleaner
Add Stabil, fill gas tank
Empty ballast pumps, put antifreeze in
Clean bags with bleach
Connect hose, turn seacock closed, run engine up to temp.
Drain oil out with mitivac
Remove raw water drain plugs
Manifold crossover hose
V-drive Anode/plug
Heat exchanger Anode/plug
Hose by impeller plug
Impeller cover
Turn seacock open
Replace new raw water impeller/gasket 685007
Change oil filter, check for O ring
Fill 8 quarts 5W-30 Indmar PN: 872004
Check/clean flame arrestor
Check anti-freeze level
Remove Trans oil
Fill Trans 2.3 quarts Indmar PN: 872006
Remove V Drive oil
Fill V Drive 1.25 quarts Indmar PN: 872009
Replace all plugs
Set up antifreeze bucket, turn seacock closed
Run antifreeze into engine, 5 gal
Remove lower spark plugs
Fog engine through spark plug opening
Bump but don’t start for a second
Replace all spark plugs
Remove antifreeze bucket, turn seacock open, quick drain and replace plugs
Clean/coat engine if needed
Zinc Anodes, replace when <¾”
Grease starter bendix
Check shaft alignment <0.003” "yearly"
Grease moving parts/cables
Check drive belt
Remove batteries
Clean, RV cleaner in blige
