Does anyone know where under the helm the canbus termination/resistor is exactly located? Picture by chance? I found this plug and am wondering if mine fell off.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20260321/725f32dbb7644b57ca13636d2361aa0e.jpg

Do you have things not working correctly, or faults that came on?

Most times CanBus terminators are built into the device so things like this don't happen.

All my information; speed, rpm, fuel level, would all go to zero. Autowake, tabs, any surf settings, would all stop working. I could see all the gauges, they would just "gray out" like the options were not available. It would come and go. One of the tests for canbus shorts was to measure the ohms on the systems. When battery is off, the system should show 60 ohms total. Mine is showing 120. That tells me one of the resistors is bad or shorting. It says there should be a 120 ohm resistor at each end of the network. I can find the one at the rear, but not the front. The rear tested good. Now having said that, I had noticed my depth and water temperature were not working at all. Even when the other gauges did come on. I unplugged the Airmar Triducer, and everything else seems to work fine now. I think that was my culprit, as I also read that a bad devise can inteoduce interfereance and cause the whole system not to register. However I am still at a loss to find that resistor under the helm. Attached is a picture of the rear resistor.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20260323/8865c97c6f5cefb08a75712f33bfd4d4.jpg

That makes sense.
The rear resistor is 2 prong which is the expected.

The green one in the front is 4 prong and normally not a resistor connection.

So are you saying the 2021 canbus system is not supposed to have a resistor under the helm? I am pretty sure the triducer is my problem, since everything else works fine when I unplugged it. But, I still measure 120 ohms on the system with it unplugged. Maybe this is the normal for a 2021 system?

You are 100% correct that there should be 2 resistors.

I'm just saying in most systems the plugs or terminators will look the same.
Your troubleshooting is also correct. 120ohms is wrong and should be 60.

Yeah, you would think they would be. That yellow one in the rear bag locker was Easy to spot. I don't know why the front one has to be so hard to find! I am really starting to think it just fell off and vibrated back inside my hull somewhere. Unless it is built into something like you suggested.
