I just joined the Moomba forum so please accept my apologies if this question has already been asked/answered elsewhere in here.

I ordered a new Mojo from the nearest dealer to me and it just arrived there. The dealer sent me a few photos of the boat and one pic of the bow shows these metal strips on the bow. Does anybody know what these are? I have tried to find an answer on the internet but haven’t had any luck yet.

I’m trying to figure out how to add a picture so please bear with me here. I think that I’m having a senior moment. 28446

OMG I’m don’t know why the pic is sideways and fuzzy but you get the idea. It’s the two strips on each side of the top step.

Could be LED docking lights

Looks like docking lights. Have your dealer take up close pictures for you.

I think Moomba calls those bow mood lights. The docking lights are lower on the hull. Looks like you have both options. It’s just checking boxes on the order sheet.

Ok Tommy, its been 6 days, so I'm sure you have the boat now. Just post the updated pics and lets clear this mystery once and for all. The suspense is killing us.

Sorry guys. I will be picking the boat up May 2nd. I will let you know what they are and post picks as well. I think Russell might be correct as I did order the bow mood lights and the docking lights. I kinda thought the mood lights would be for the interior tbh. 28511

Got the boat home this weekend. Can’t wait to get it tomorrow into the water. The metal strips on the bow are a thin strip of white LEDs. I will post a pic of the boat in the water one evening so others can see what they look like. I will let you guys decide if they’re a worthwhile option.

Does anybody know what model of Wetsounds speakers are stock in the 2020 Mojo? I want to install the same model in the bow to maintain continuity.

For any body curious about what the “Bow mood light” option is here is a pic. I don’t know how to post pics in this forum using a third party so please forgive the low quality.

What exactly are they for? Are they tied in with your docking lights?

As far as I can tell jnr4817, they are strictly for bling. They come on with the courtesy lights. I joined Tapatalk so this pic might be clearer.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200627/bab126af6508eeccdf7405acfa79eecc.jpg

They do illuminate the step on the bow so I suppose they do have a slight practical purpose.

I like them. If they come as part of the whole interior courtesy lights package, they are a nice touch, I like they illuminate the steps. If they are a separate item on their own with a separate cost, that would be different, not sure they would be worth it. But they look good and I would even order them separately if I had money burning my pockets. That's a beautiful boat. I love the Mojo man. I know I traded mine in, but there will always be a special spot in my heart for that boat. Design, appearance, craftsmanship, versatility, space, value for the money, color options and spray patterns. It just ticks all the boxes. I hope they come up with subfloor ballast and leave everything else the same some day. I know that would make the hull a little deeper and boat heavier, but worth it.
