    Default Seat removal

What's the trick removing the seat on an 06-08 obv, 05- möbius? My anchor screws look like they're tamper proof. Looks difficult unless they aren't too tight.

If you are talking about the drivers seat, on my 08 OBV there is just 4 bolts under the cushion. Once you have the 4 nuts removed seat pulls up.

What I'm referring to is the seat base. I should have been more clear.

Seat base is mounted to the floor board. Why do you want to remove?

I'd like to raise it some and replace carpet with something else.

I'd build a riser bracket to raise the seat.

Pull the entire floor to replace the carpet. It's pretty easy to do, follow the perimeter removing all the screws. Need two people to lift it out easily.

So on my boat the seat base is part of the fiberglass floor so no way to detach. I ended up Using some of my kids old skateboard wheels and longer bolts. It raised the seat approx 2 inches. I'll have to see how it feels this summer as I did this adjustment after I winterized the boat. It feels better just sitting in it though.

You'll be happy. My swivel mod moved mine up about 2 1/2" and it's way better.
