I've always wondered if the front rider would be destroying the wave too much for the one behind. I've seen it on youtube but never in person.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

The girls pulled it off this weekend and would even switch who was in front & who was in back while surfing. As one went up to the top of the wave, the other shot down. I'd love to share the video, but the go pro decided to take a close up of the lake bottom.

I've seen someone on the front wake (normal surfing wake) and someone on a regular surf board (ocean surf) on the second wake (like 30+ feet behind the boat) and I imagine someone could surf the third wake with an ocean long board 7+ feet long.

    Time to go scuba diving!

I think that we could probably surf doubles on my buddy's F23 tomcat with retrofitted surfgate. we'll have to give that a try next time.

I've tried a few times on a '14 G21. I'm 6'3" 240lbs and I was on a 5'6" LF Fish with my buddy who's 5'10" 185lbs on a Ronix Carbon Skim. We never could go completely ropeless. The front rider's board wash always boogers up the wave and the back guy can't let go. The front rider also has to ride right on the swim deck. Two smaller/lighter people could do it with large enough boards. Wasn't a whole lot of fun.
