More prayers your way Ryan for a speedy recovery.

I had a booboo on Friday - right knee buckled on impact. Kind of screwed up the weekend. Still able to sort of walk but any twisting and I'm done. See what the doc says here soon.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

Well hopefully not too bad. Dr says bad muscle strain and problems with the meno poppy (meniscal popliteal?) nerve - everything keeps going numb from knee down. Says to start with PT recovery and strengthening session. If I can't do the moves then back in for MRI.

orthoscopic surgery will be first week in Oct. to put a dead person's ACL in my knee. Doc said I do have some meniscus damage that's he's going look at while he's in there and then make the decision on what to do with it.

is there no rejection with the ACL replacement from another person as with other transplants?

I was wondering that but forgot to ask. I don't think so, as I've never heard of anybody's body rejecting one...And I've talked to a lot of people lately that have had knees re-done. Let's hope I'm not the first :O
