Default Lead weight placement for 2017 Mojo

I now have 500 lbs of lead and trying to figure where to put them all so I don’t have to move them around.
I have both goofy and regular surfers.
I currently have a 2017 Mojo surf edition with the stock 3000 lbs.
900’s in rear, 700 in middle and 500 in bow.
    Thanks for any advice

Default Lead weight placement for 2017 Mojo

I am also adding 500lbs to my 2017 mojo, although I have the Enzo sacs in the rears. I have been told the lead should all go in the bow, but I haven’t tried it yet.

The Enzo sacs are 1450 each. They fill the rear compartments almost completely.

An alternate to the enzos is to use two of the standard 400 lb bags under the cabin seats and just using a tsunami pump to fill and drain them. This is what I do and when the bags are empty I just put stuff on top of them when I need that space for storage and just use the 900s in the rear. I only have 200 lbs of lead and am moving it all over all the time but when we surf (goofy) I usually put two behind the driver seat and one on either side of the v-drive cover.

No, but my boat came with the metal supports on the panels. Does yours not have those? Otherwise, wakemakers has the aftermarket panel support kit you can add to strengthen them.

The 1100’s I had did the same thing. But the Enzo’s IMO fit much better and don’t bulge the sides. As far as the lead is concerned I ran 250 in the bow and 250 on the surf side made the wave much longer but also had to watch for rollers a lot more

I have the Wakemakers Custom Fit Bags (1475# or so) and they eventually sheared off the plastic C-channel that the engine panels slid into at the floor. Side note, I re-purposed a Wakemakers engine divider panel saver kit I had laying around by using the aluminum C-channel in the kit to replace the plastic channel that came stock with the boat. Worked great, C-channel is the perfect size.
