Back at it again yesterday, and I was able to get all 3 kids up tandem at one point.

Here is our dare devil having a blast:

This is her twin. It took a lot more effort to get her up - it really came down to bruit force on my part. You can tell by the Oh S look on her face when we got going:

But after the tears stopped, she realized she was having a lot of fun:

And here is my oldest finally starting to get the hang of it. This was her first time to actually get up on her board:

We all had a blast and can't wait for next weekend - although it is supposed to be a high of 85 on Friday, compared to the 102 yesterday.
On another note - GoPro ordered last night

Pretty good weekend for us at the WWA US Wakeboard Nationals. At the beginning of the year Tyler set a goal for himself to make the final heat in arguably the most difficult and competitive amateur division in wakeboarding at the Nationals and Worlds.

He hurt his ankle almost 8 weeks ago and has only been able to get back riding 2 weeks ago but it's still sore specifically taking off on toe side spins or landing switch heel.

He made it through to the final but there was a miscommunication with the boat driver on his speed and they pulled his first pass at the previous riders speed which was too slow. It would not have been a problem but he was now shooting for a podium spot a stepped up his run with more difficult tricks and ended up falling twice in his run.

He ended up 5th in the final and now we begin practice for the Nautique Wake Open in August and the Supra Worlds in September.

Made it out 2 days in a row. That's almost a record...

One of the weirdest boats on the river this weekend. The guy in there is easily 6ft tall - we saw them run by several times and were at the launch right behind them. Not sure what the school of thought was on the 9ft tower.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

I always find this one amusing. For all the complaints about the built-in coolers that suck, this is probably 3 hours into an 85 degree day...

Youngest daughter getting her surf on

Tag-a-long boyfriend that kept saying he's not very good

    The 360 that never was

Actually saw a handful of Moombas out that I haven't before. A dk green LSV, an all white Liquid Force Edition XLV that was beautiful, an older red 2003ish LSV, a black/white/blue Mojo full of women - not a guy in site but lots of them willing to help when they pulled up to the dock!

Ice would have been water in the old (removed) LSV cooler. "Tag a long boyfriend": "Um, sorry-- the throttle is sticking a bit today."

Berg... those of us without built in coolers couldn't dream of complaining about them.

    Extra headroom maybe??

Did it come with a ladder to get the rope on the tow point?
