I have heard rumors of Mastercraft working with smaller scale models of their surf hulls to determine the best shapes. If anyone knows how I can get that job let me know....

My 2016 Moomba has the same issues. Installed the 1100 lbs bags, have tried various settings per my boat dealership and from Moomba product specialist. NOTHING works..... I am going to try the 750 lb we took out of back and fill them under seat of port side to see if this creates a push. This is the most disappointing experience I have in years. as was stated above, they market the boat as surf ready and are very misleading.

Default Surf Setup - 2016 Mojo - HELP!

Nose weight is all I can say. The last few times I've probably had 1100lbs in the nose, and that made all of the difference in terms of making the wave longer.

From my limited experience the mojo just need weight, and lots of it. Stock ballast is not an option to produce a good surf wave. Upgrading to 1100lb rear sacs is a start but she need even more. I have 400s under the seats piggy backed off my 1100s and can absolutely tell when they are not full. Be sure to fill everything 100% full. Some people are claiming 75% full opposite surf side but I have found this to negatively affect my wave. I typically cheat a passenger or two to the desired surf side and the wave is great now that I have it dialed.

But at the same time .... the wave should be easily surfable with ibs and 1100s.

It's not the ocean with a megaboard and moon push ... You gotta do a little feet work.

Default Surf Setup - 2016 Mojo - HELP!

On my 12 I just had to run 1100 surf side locker. 400 non surf side and 400 center, plate at half and my new doomswell neo and I was having a ball. I usually have a 325 under surf side seat and another 300 in nose but my hand pump broke. I am gonna to add more ibs but with the neo, I'm not sure I will right away. I also do not have auto or Manual flow.

Got the wave dialed. All i did was upgrade the rear ballast to 1100's. Omg, wave has tons of push. It rides effortlessly. Even if i drift way back i am able to surf back in. I'm so happy i can cry.
Not much else in my setup.
Front IBS 0%full, wake plate all the way up, both rear ballast full and i have auto surf set for port side surfing.
Btw,i think the 1100's fill just fine.
Keep in mind, because timer is set for the 750# it'll stop pumping water at that level. Had to restart the ballast fill a couple of times before the 1100's were full. I have to go into the settings and change the fill time.
    Anyway, psyched i am.

So IBS empty but are you filling the front hard tank? Also, to what degree are you deploying the auto flow?

Default Surf Setup - 2016 Mojo - HELP!

FWIW, we had problems getting the wave dialed in on our 2014 LSV (900lbs rear bags, 500lbs IBS and manual flow plates), and we just COULDN'T find a surfable sweet spot. Turns out that our digital and analog speedo were ~2 MPH off when compared to GPS app, so when we were thinking we were surfing at 10.4 MPH, it was actually 12.4 and we had NO push! Not sure how common this is on Moombas, but that solved everything for us....
