Epiphany...I'm 27. Is this the first sign of getting old, memory loss?

I've been to pro clinics, competed in local competitions, and ride with some people that are significantly better than me. During all of those, I haven't known anybody that is an advanced rider and rides under 23, most ride closer to 25 like I do. To each his own, but that's my experience and that would be my advice in his situation.

If you're going to run that slow, I agree there is too much weight in the boat. You don't need a monster wake to do inverts. I learned backrolls before I had a wake boat behind my 17ft Glastron I/O with no tower. I run my stock 400 up front and about 500 in each locker, wake plate at 3/4 up (1/4 up from flat, if that's how you refer to it). I like a steep wake that gives me good pop.

Since you have conflicting advice, I'd try each suggestion and see what works best for you.

I need to ride with you sometime. I'm on Commerce Lake......

Solid pic thread idea. It would even put something in the wakeboard category!

Absolutely, always looking for riding buddies. PM me your number. I'm on Long Lake in Lake Orion. I ride on middle straits and sylvan sometimes too, on friend's boats.

Honestly, barely anybody wakeboards or surfs on my lake and people think it's amazing that I don't need a rope to surf and that I can do a 360 on a surfboard and wakeboard...that's the kind of people I ride with most lol. I have very little drive for progression with those conditions unfortunately!

Great idea, kg start the thread with your pics! I suggest in general chat since it has the most traffic.
