Group Buy! OK. Here's the deal. Thanks to all of your interest I was able to negotiate 15% over dealer cost plus freight for forum members. 100% down payment since he'll have SC ship direct. He needs a minimum of 5 to order. For each order, he needs year, make, model and hull# for each vessel + name, address.....

SurfWave Platform Group buy!! Alpine Haus Marina is willing to do 15% over cost + freight on the Surfwave platforms. Obviously he needs 100% up front as he will have SC ship direct to you. That's a pretty damn good deal!! Here's what he needs:

According to Vince, he will only sell to people in the Spokane washington territory area, respecting the dealer territory network.

I got my HDPE for my platform. I went all crazy and got the 1" and Hydro Turf to cover it up.
I don't like the idea of using carriage bolts because they can spin. Of course just using a jamb nut to loosen them when the time comes solves that problem.
I was thinking of using a blind nut like a T nut or a rivet nut. Not sure if that is a good way to go either. They are really clean looking but if they spin I am pretty screwed.
Let me know which is best.
