Now riding ropeless behind the Mobius LSV.
It was so sweet.. I am now able to ride for easily a couple minutes.. usually until a turn is necessary
running a Moomba Mobius LSV.
Center gravity filled, 550 in back left V-Drive compartment, 550 just behind spotter, and plate about 3/4 up @ about 10.5 mph.
wake isn't the cleanest yet, still need to play with it, but just so excited about finally being able to go ropeless. its not even a challenge to get loose now. its like once you got it, you have it.
uploading a video to vimeo now.

Thats awesome man. I love the little paddle as you fell over the wave. I'm hopping to get some free rope soon.

other then getting a bunch of people in the corner... what else can i do to get a cleaner curl on my surf wake.. we have adjust speed... adjust plate... jusdt cant really get it much better then above.
still the same setup from the video works best...
Center gravity filled (440 i think), 550 in back left V-Drive compartment, 550 just behind spotter, and plate about 3/4 up @ about 10.5 mph.
my boat leans to the side but i think i need to get the surf side a lot lower in the water to make a decent wake...Last edited by spyder; 07-13-2009 at 10:45 PM.

Id say move the plate to 1/2 and have a couple people move to the front of the boat. Might be too much weight in the rear. It takes some tinkering around to get it dialed in.

Hey Spyder, i have a 08 LSV here's my set up 750 surf side in rear,350 center 11.2 mph wake plate 3/4 and everyone on surfside.Find a big friend to go with you surfing.i remember one time having my buddie at 260lbs on the sundeck left back of top was touching the water it threw the biggest wake i ever had i guess it was 4 ft wake you talk about serious speed and fun it was crazy.once you get more comfortable on that board go to a 4'8 or 4,11 board thats built for tricks and speed.i have a shredstixx Jamacko very fast and you can cut into wake to get air. Keep on surfing ! i love it, next Fresh air exhaust.
I Think MOOMBA is Addicting
