wow, nice job. I replaced the carpet on the floor with a rubber matting and it is great not to deal with the wet carpets for sure.

that looks factory.. well done, you could even place a rubber type mat (Heavy cow mats maybe) down if you didn't want to risk your bags rubbing on the rough finish?

are you putting the flip up walls back in the lockers to block the bags from the engine?

also, did you put that herculiner right up to under the rail?

Ya the factory panels are going back in. I just didn't have time to install them before work. I think I'll see how the bags do for an outing before I do any mat under them. The liner is rough, but those bags don't move a lot. Any small, tbin rubber mat would work well though. I went clear up to the rub rails and coated them as well. It was a natural stopping point.

I've seen a few guys on here use the herculiner in the lockers and I was also wondering about the roughness / texture and if it would damage the sacs. I guess you could always put some carpet in there to protect the sacs (lol, jk).

Anyone know if they make bedliner without the texture? Or if the two part epoxy for garage floors would work?

Fat sacs are made from white water raft material so bed liner isn't going to harm them.

Either way you could slam some rubber mat down under it if it made you feel better.

I don't think it would work. I put that coating in my shop and had to etch the concrete several time so it would adhere and not come up later. If you put it down on fiberglass I feel when it dried it wouldn't stick and would just peel up.

so after being at the lake all last week.. my boat was never dry and the lockers absolutely soaked... I want to try to do this after the season before I store for the winter..

Anyone have any suggestions to remove the glue quicker... without harming the boat...
With twins under a year old and a wife screaming at me I unfortunately do not have 11 available hours to do this.. lol
