    No amp? Is it a Kenwood radio?

    Even if you did have to wire it up it's pretty easy. All of the wires from the new HU are labeled. They should be on the old one too. Just disconnect the harness from the stock radio and take the old HU out. Then, disconnect each wire one at a time from the old harness and connect it to the new one. The color scheme should be the same or at least they should be labeled like Front +, Rear -, etc...

    If you are running all 6 speakers off of the head unit it may be cutting out at the high volume due to the ohm load. You should look into getting a 4 channel amp to power your inboats and free up your radio...

    i dont think theres an amp anyways, i dont see one.. i don't have tower speakers.. and yes its the kenwood.

    would i have to get someone to install the amp?

    Either you can install it or you can have a shop do it. Installing an amp isn't really difficult, the confined space of a boat makes it a little less than fun though. If you can install a ceiling fan or light fixture then you can install an amp.
