    Default LSV and Barefootin

    Can you utilize barefoot booms on a LSV / XLV setup?

    Yes ,they make 2 types. 1 is a tower boom that attaches directly to the tower at 3 point and then to the bow....probably the better as it will get yyou more forward ahead of the chine spray...but a little less user friendly on mounting and dismantling.....pretty much need to be at shore or a dock. 2. is one that comes off the ski pylon with an s shaped piece to move the boom forward so that it moves you out of the chine spray...but harder to adjust the end boom height imo. I've looked into these and personally i think i'm tending toward the tower boom. heres a link scroll down and you'll see both
