Vinyl Replacement
I'm looking to replace some of the vinyl on my boat. I am going to be ordering the stuff from Great Lakes Skipper but I was wondering if you guys recommend the fuzzy back or the foam back.
Thanks,
Mark

I really don't know how much it matters. Better to check with your upholsterer-- unless you are planning on sewing covers yourself.

I have a friend that does a lot of leather work and she is going to sew it for me. I don't really have a "shop" to ask.

I used the foam backed material. It came out very nice except for the edges. The "beads" or "piping" are a little thicker than the standard interior. I notice it but I don't know if anyone else would. If you can't picture this let me know and I'll post some close up photos that show the difference.

I understand what you mean. I'm not doing the whole interior yet just the sundeck and observer seat.
Now the bigger question is: Has anybody take the single sun deck and made it a tri-fold?
