Prop IV

My 2004 Moomba Outback came with a 13 x 13 left hand prop 3 blade. My wife dinged it up and I am swaping it out for a new one.

Which should I go with the 3 blade or the 4 blade. What are the pros and cons.

Better hole shot, 4 bladed.

Not really all that necessary.

More important, think hard about buying the new prop outright, and keeping the old one as a spare. You can send an old one away and have it rejuevenated for less than $100.

Then, if it happens again, you can make a quick switcheroo and not miss a weekend on the water.
