    Default Running Hot

Unfortunately this post is about my 2007 LSV and not my wife. We were out wakeboarding and the boat temp would jump up pretty high and then unexpectedly go back down. If this was a car I would say it was a thermostat problem but I do not think this boat has that? Would this be an impeller issue?

I see a few posts down directions on how to change that so hopefully thats all it is.

    Thanks All

I would check for a strainer or cooler blockage first. When a thermostat goes bad it typically doesn't vary in temp up and down like that. Check your impellor, it could have shredded and you have pieces blocking the cooling system.

My thoughts exactly as Razz. Sounds like something flapping around in the system and you will want to get it checked out.
