Idle RPM
A Quick question.
At how many RPM's should a 2002 Mobius V idle at when in neutral. We have been having a problem with the boat dying when we put it in neutral.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
ThanksLuke Smith

Luke, I assume you are running a 310 carburated engine. I live at about 4500 ft and had the same problem. Engine ran great except at idle. First, I increased the idle a little. Indmar does not recommend having idle RMP higher than 1100. That helped but did not completely fix the problem. The next thing I did was re-jet the carb. This was pretty easy and anybody you know with knowledge about Holly carbs (should be easy to find someone) can either do it or help you. It only took about 15 min. That combo of increasing idle and re-jetting carb did the trick. Good luck.

I have mine set at 800RPM and it drops to about 600RPM when you put it in gear. I am also using the 310 Carb motor. Doing what carsondoc said would be your best bet if you're using the carb motor, adjusting it was a snap.
