    Default 2000 Mobius V

Guys I am looking at a 2000 Mobius V with 880hrs on for $19,500. What do you think of the deal. Good / Bad / Too many hours ect.

The listing can be found here:

Just my two cents worth but i've seen a few '05-'06 LSV's for around the mid twenties that are better boats. Not that the MobV isn't a good boat as it is. $19,500 is at the low end of the scale but it seems a better deal might be had in this market we're in. He states the price is firm but i'd think he'd be a tad flexible especially since Nada's actual posts between $19,460 & $22,180 so i don't know where he's getting his high of $24+. But it's not a bad deal and if you like it go for it. I would get a complete survey since it has 800+ hours on it.

Btw 800 hours is not a lot if the boat was taken care of. I have a buddy with over 2000 on his but he's a maintenance fanatic too. I sold my last one with almost 900 on it and it ran like a top.

I would keep looking. Thats not a bad price, certainly not a deal, but there are far better deals to be had. With the economy and time of year I wouldn't pay more than 16k. The best prices are still to come. Dec, Jan, Feb especially with post boat show trade-ins and such will be the best time.

    Thanks Razz.

I'm still in the looking phase right now and I really like the moomba v-drives.

Welcome to the Forum New Guy.

What location are you? Lots of people all over the US, Canada, on here. A location might help people near you recommend places also.

You could also look at Craigslist and Boatrader.

No problem New Guy. How far you willing to travel for a good deal? What's your price range so we can omit those over?
