Replying to Topic 'board size'
You can go to www.wakeboardworld.com, and they have a board wizard that will help you out. Last May when I purchased my boat, part of the deal was that the dealer had to fit my son with a new board. He and the pro shop guy chose the Hyperlite Motive 128. My son was 12 at the time, and was very close to the measurements you have described in your post. He is now 13, and is 5'11 and weighs about 155 to 160. The 128 is really just a little small for him now. With that being said, if the kid you are describing is still fairly young, and has a lot of growing to do, I would look at the board wizard mentioned earlier, and try to find a board that he is in the lower end of the weight range. Or you will be looking at replacing his board in a year or two as I am.
Hope this helps,
Mike
