I apparently will have to work on the file size, as it won't post them. Stand by.

Yeah. it sounds good. I think that next season I will build a board to mount the subwoofer in and mount it under the console so I can get my leg room back. That has been the only downside to putting that box under the dash.

Medic,
For some reason, I can't view your pictures. So, I don't know what your setup is, boat or sub. Just a little info though. I have a 2003 Mobius LS with a boxed 10" Polk Momo sub. I took the kick panel off that is directly in front of the driver's feet. My sub fit in that area with a little room to spare. I was able to position the sub facing the side of the boat. I had room to put the kick panel back on, so it looks just like it did prior to putting the sub in there. There is a fairly large hole at the top of this kick panel for air to pass through. The boat look just like it did prior to the stereo upgrade, I did not loose any leg room, and it sounds really good. You might look into trying this before you go to the trouble building another box. The space behind that kick panel is pretty much wasted anyway. Just a thought.
Later,
Mike

I will take a look at that. That sounds like the way to do it. It would also eliminate having to take the sub out from under there when I store it for winter. Thanks for the advice.

I had the sub installed directly into the kickpanel that Mike reffered to, and then added a grill to the front so as not to put a foot through it. Of course, now it's a permanent fixture in the boat, or you have a 10" hole in the floor, or you have to replace the whole panel. Just another option.
