Yearround, Yep we stayed on a house boat.... its good to have friends with toys who share.

We went to the San Juan river arm and into it about 13 miles. They have never taken the house boat that far so it was an adventure for all of us. 52 miles one way! It was a touch over 8 hours to get there with the house boat, But I got pretty lucky coming home and caught some pretty good water in the main channel and made it back to bullfrog in 1hr and 35min.

Just sucked down 3/4 tank of fuel to do it! We were loaded pretty heavy though. They are heading back this way on Wensday. I did tell them not to do it! We froze pretty good here last night.

Looks like the wind is letting up and the air temp is coming up twards the end of the week! Enjoy Yearround! What part are you heading to?

mustangairchair That place be Lake Powell UT! At Music Temple Canyon and a small part of the San Juan River Arm!

thanks for the info. i would love to do a house boat, it has been many years since we have done that. we will be car camping at stanton creek. going with others who have never been, going to rainbow bridge, some slot canyon hikes, etc.

planning to leave in the morning, but there is a winter storm warning for I-70, we may get out tonight and beat the snow storm.
