can I replace a strut my self? Can a bent strut be straightened and how much does a strut cost and how much would it cost to have it done if it is truley only the strut

YES YOUR BENT STRUT CAN BE BENT BACK DEPENDING ON THE SEVERITY AND DEGREE STRUT IS BENT TO. I JUST HAD MINE FIXED ALTHOUGH I HAD TO GET A NEW STRUT I WAS ABLE TO BEND BACK THE SHAFT WHICH ALSO MAY BE A PROBLEM SO CHECK THAT AS WELL

TO ANSWER THE QUESTION TO CHANGE THE STRUT YOURSELF IS A VERY DIFFICULT TASK BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO NOT ONLY CHANGE THAT BUT CHECK THE ALIGNMENT OF THE SHAFT WHICH UNLESS YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL I THIS FIELD IT WILL BE VERY HARD
